Gorilla 1 is one of a collection of organic forms seeking to capture the essence of the animal.

 

It evolves as an interaction between the animal shape and the texture and colour of the stone itself.

​

Kevin’s method does not involve forcing a shape onto the stone but allows shapes to emerge from his interaction with the stone.

​

Gorilla 1 is part of a private collection in Dublin.
